Who Are You? Facebook Tip #4 - Tell Us All ‘About’ Your Practice
Getting to know you - Filling your ‘About’ section with basic information
How do you tell people about your practice before they set foot into your door? This week we’re reminding you to complete one of the most important sections in your Facebook page: your ‘About’ section. This is one of the first places people will look when they want more information about your business.
Information to include in the About section:
In the overview, your customers will be looking for your basic information. You should include a brief description of your business, phone number, website, hours of operation, and address. You can also choose up to 3 subcategories to describe your business, such as chiropractic, massage, physical therapy.
You can go into more detail about your business in under the page information section. Who are the people in your business? What kind of services do you offer? How can customers reach you? Who’s your office manager or CA? Does your business offer goods or services? Go into as much detail as you can so the public can get a good impression of your business before setting foot in the door. If your practice has a mission statement, let your potential clients read about it here.
If you have a website or other social media accounts such as Twitter or Instagram, or if you have a newsletter, include links in the Page Information section.
Facebook has become the first place many people go to do research on goods and services. If you want to reach a wider audience and increase new business, it’s critical to have the most up to date information you want people to know about you.
