Keep Followers Happy with Facebook Tip #6: Post OTHER Types of Content

While photos and videos are proven to be the most engaging content formats on Facebook, too much of a good thing can be bad for your Facebook Page. So try switching up the type of content you share to increase the chance your audience sees them.

Here some ways to post other types of content by using text on Facebook:

Quotes Post - What’s your favorite quote? Share it with your Facebook fans. Be sure to include quotation marks and to attribute the quote to its author. Here are some of our favorites to get you started.

"The doctor of the future will give no medicine but will interest his patients in the care of the human frame, and in the cause and prevention of disease." - Thomas Edison

"Posture affects and moderates every physiological function from breathing to hormonal production." - American Journal of Pain Management

"Good nutrition will prevent 95 percent of all disease." - Linus Pauling

Story Post - Why did you become a chiropractor? Do you have any great success stories to share? What do you love about your town? Let your Facebook fans get to know you. Post about your life, hobbies, and unforgettable memories. Make it as long or short as you’d like. Your stories will help people connect with you on an emotional level.

Question Post - Dig deeper and ask questions on your page. It can be a serious issue, part of a promotion, or even a silly question. The point is to get people to answer your question. When people interact with your page, your posts will show up in their facebook news feed more frequently. And friends of people that like your page will see them interacting with you too.

Conversation Post - You know that patients, especially kids, have some amazing things to say. Share some of those memorable moments from your day with your Facebook audience.

Link Post - Have you read an article that stuck with you? It could resonate with your fans as well. Just enter a link to the article with a brief explanation of why the article is a good read.

Posting images and videos is great, but you need to mix it up in order to keep your page fresh and interactive. Remember, variety is the spice of life!
